Individual therapy across the lifespan with a specialty in working with young adults.
Consultation and workshops available for corporations and health care providers.
I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University-Post. I completed an APA accredited internship from Mt. Sinai Services-Elmhurst Hospital Center. I received postdoctoral training from New York University Counseling and Wellness Services.
My approach to providing therapy is integrative and client-focused. This means that I individualize therapy based on the client's challenges and goals through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and mindfulness modalities. I use treatment that is evidence-based and effective. My style is collaborative, goal-directed and open.
I am an experienced adjunct professor, researcher and presenter. Currently, I am an adjunct assistant professor at Hunter College. I have also taught psychology courses as an adjunct professor at Queens College and Molloy College.
